La Victoria is the Destination for Authentic Mexican Flavor
The year was 1917. Up until this point, there hadn't been a jarred Salsa, because folks who wanted Salsa had made Salsa using fresh ingredients.
But the population of Southern California was growing, and it was becoming more difficult for folks of Mexican heritage to find the fresh ingredients they needed to make great Salsa.
That's when the La Baca family of Los Angeles developed the recipe for La Victoria Salsa Brava - the first jarred Salsa!
And since 1917, La Victoria continues to be the Destination for Authentic Mexican Flavor, because we make our Salsa in the heart of the tomato fields. The great flavor is all about freshness!
We also make other authentic Mexican Sauces, including delicious Taco Sauces and thick, rich Enchilada Sauces. And since we are surrounded by fresh chiles and peppers, we decided to package those as well….
There have been many imitators since. But our Salsa has been around for almost a century. If you have tried La Victoria, then you know that it is a great tasting authentic Salsa. And if you haven’t…. give it a try and experience what Salsa lovers have known since 1917…..
We hope you enjoy our products, and the website we’ve built to share what we know about Salsa, Mexican Sauces, Chiles and Peppers.
